Dog Day Thursday

When: Thursdays, 3 p.m. Continues through Sept. 3 2009

During the summer break, kids can slip behind on their reading practice. Reading Education Assistance Dogs want to help. In the Edith Stone Room of the Albany Library (1247 Marin Ave., Albany) on Thursday, July 2, (as on every "Dog Day Thursday" all summer), kids in grades one through five can read aloud to these patient, attentive, specially trained pups. 3 p.m., free.
