If Jack Hill, the exploitation director who gave us Foxy Brown and Switchblade Sisters were still working today, DOA, a movie about hot chicks in string bikinis kicking each other's asses all over a South Pacific island, would have been right up his alley. Instead, actor/director Corey Yuen has the directorial honor and delivers an 87-minute fight fest filled with bad acting and barely any plot to complicate things like how hot Jaime Pressly or Holly Valance look in those string bikinis as they kick ass. In fact, that is the entire plot. A video-game movie, it aspires to be nothing more than a fun way to pass barely an hour of your life away.
