Dellums: Kiss the A's Goodbye

Oakland Mayor Ron Dellums has nearly ruled out any hope of keeping the A's from leaving Oakland and moving to Fremont, according to a report from Bay City News Service. "The likelihood is very slim," the mayor said. "The door is slightly open, but the chances are very slim." Dellums added that Oakland's best shot at keeping the A's was lost when ex-Mayor Jerry Brown killed former City Manager's Robert Bobb's plan for a downtown stadium.
