Día de los Muertos Celebration

When: Sun., Nov. 2, 9:30 a.m. 2008

They're never too young to learn the meaning of death! At an all-day Día de los Muertos celebration at Habitot Children's Museum (2065 Kittredge St., Berkeley) on Nov. 2, kids can make traditional holiday crafts such as paper marigolds, sugar skulls, and papelpicado, intricately patterned paper-cut banners. Refreshments include Mexican treats and thick horchata to drink, thanks to CancúnTaquería. Day of the Dead storytelling puts a chill in the air. 9:30 a.m. Habitot.org
