Carnaval San Francisco to host its 2017 King & Queen Competition on Saturday, April 15 at the Brava Theater

Carnaval San Francisco, the annual two–day festival and grand parade held in San Francisco’s Mission District over Memorial Day weekend, will hold its 2017 King & Queen Competition at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 at the Brava Theater in San Francisco. Twenty of the Bay Area’s most talented samba, salsa, soca dancers and more will compete for a chance to become the official ambassadors for Carnaval San Francisco 2017, an honor that includes the title of King or Queen, an opportunity to lead the 39th Annual Carnaval San Francisco Grand Parade on Sunday, May 28, and $500.
