What have those big brains up at UC Berkeley been doing lately? Try studying gecko toes in order to design the perfect adhesive. According to Scientific American, Cal researchers have developed an adhesive strip filled with microfibers that cling to surfaces with a real tenacity, and even constantly clean themselves. Slap those stips on a robot car that needs to drive up the cliffs of some distant planet, and baby, you got a stew goin'.
