Cal Bears Vs. UCLA Baseball

When: Fri., May 21, 2:30 p.m. and May 22-23, 1 p.m. 2010

The Golden Bears of baseball are certainly happy to be home. The team has been a world-beater at Evans Diamond (Oxford St. and Schlessinger Way, Berkeley), but a punching bag on the road. The Blue and Gold hardballers have a final chance to get well when they host UCLA for the final homestand of the season, Friday through Sunday, May 21-23. The Bears are still nationally ranked and have an outside chance of qualifying for the College World Series, but to advance they'll have to win wearing their visitor's uniforms. Best catch the action where Cal at least gets last at-bats. Fri. 2:30 p.m.; Sat.-Sun. 1 p.m. $8, seniors $4, students/youth free. CalBears.com
