Bunny Flicks: Film Screening and Vegan Potluck

When: Sat., March 17, 2-5 p.m. 2012

One doesn't have to forgo meat to appreciate the cuteness of bunny rabbits, though some vegans would argue that it helps. But regardless of whether you prefer to munch on carrots or gnaw on jerky, all fans of the fluff-tailed creatures may partake in Bunny Flicks, the House Rabbit Society Center's (148 Broadway, Richmond) new monthly film, discussion, and vegan potluck series focusing on animal- and eco-friendly films. The first shindig features a screening of Equal Hoppertunity, a documentary about -- you guessed it -- rabbits, followed by a discussion and dinner. Bring a vegan dish to share (and definitely leave the rabbit stew at home). On Saturday, Mar. 17. 2-5 p.m., $5 suggested donation. 510-970-7575 or RabbitCenter.org
