Well, we’ve got a budget. We don’t really know what to say. It seems a little churlish to harp on all the pain caused by 80 days of stalemate, or the hard line on taxes that Republicans took, or the nonsensical drug laws that cram California’s prisons full of nonviolent offenders and cost the state billions that could be spent elsewhere. Maybe we should just focus on the fact that this crisis is finally over. And look forward to that magic moment nine months from now, when we start this process all over again.
