Breaking: Clorox CEO Pay Actually Drops



While Lehman Brothers execs are getting a fortune for a few weeks' work, and other Wall Street former swingin' dicks are deploying their golden parachutes, guess which CEO actually saw his paycheck drop this year? That would be Donald Knauss, the head of Oakland consumer goods company Clorox, whose compensation fell from $12.4 million to $7.1 million for the last fiscal year. Almost all of the drop was due to the fall in Clorox stock, in which Knauss had millions in stock options.
