Getting a groove on when you are ten games out of contention might be a challenge for some, but there's something in the air at a Golden State Warrior basketball game and it isn't just the weed wafting through the upper deck. The DJ Booth is in full effect at Warrior home games and it truly makes for a great time out. Rather than the same ol' "Start-Me-Up" riff, the team is committed to young spinners and musicians blasting the beats during breaks in the action. While we love the throwback style in most aspects of our pro sports, we don't miss the organ music or tired anthems piped through the speakers. We'll go new-school for the lively sounds of fresh funk being created on the fly by live performers. The artists have to be ready for a quick change in momentum, a flurry of late lead changes, or to inspire our boys in the blue and gold to try rallying one more time. Even if the Warriors come up short and fans leave with revenge in their hearts, they'll have music in their souls.
