Bertrand Cuiller

MusicSources, Berkeley's homey center for period performance, presents the West Coast debut of French harpsichordist Bertrand Cuiller. The 31-year-old artist, who won third place at the Bruges International Harpsichord Competition in 1998, has since received the Diapason d'or, Choc du Monde de la musique, Joker de Crescendo, 9 de Classica, and the Coup de Coeur de l'Académie Charles Cros awards for his CD of solo harpsichord music by Byrd, Philips, and Bull. It is selections from that recording that he performs at the one-hour concert, which is followed by their customary food and wine reception.
