Berkeley's 1960s Underground Press

When: Nov. 21-30 2013

The Berkeley Barb (1966-81) and its offshoot the Berkeley Tribe (1969-71) pioneered a new brand of alternative journalism in the late 1960s. John Jekabson worked as managing editor, writer, cartoonist, and photographer for both papers. On display are his photos from that era, together with archival images from his tenure with Berkeley's underground press.
