Berkeley Farmers' Market: 16th Annual Holiday Crafts Fair

Committed to working with folks who don't have enough capital to open their own restaurant on Shattuck Ave. but offer a good product nonetheless, Berkeley's Saturday farmers' marketis one of the best places to find vegan Mexican food, seasonal organic produce, veggie samosas, Himalayan snacks, and tasty pad Thai within a single block. The market's 16th Annual Holiday Crafts Fair, which starts Dec. 8 and runs three consecutive Saturdays, will feature live world music, lute, choral groups, jazz, and spoken-word, plus jewelry, ceramics, marbled paper, leather, knit clothing, and dolls by local artisans.
