Beach House

When: Tue., April 16, 8 p.m. 2013

Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand of Beach House are over people expecting them to mix things up. Since 2008's Devotion put Legrand's deep sultry drawl and Scally's oceanic organ on the map, the duo has stayed remarkably, well, consistent. That's not to say it hasn't reached great depths with its existing sound -- 2010's Teen Dream is an album so good it's capable of reducing one to euphoria and tears at the same time, and last year's Bloom is darker, more transcendent dream pop -- but the band has shown no signs of being interested in pursuing a heavy experimental period. Hence this current US tour, sans a new album or, reportedly, any new material at all. Expect a solid set of familiar songs on Tuesday, Apr. 16, at The Fillmore (1805 Geary St., San Francisco), and a show that's guaranteed to be the Beach House sound you know and love. With Holy S**t. 8 p.m., $30. LiveNation.com
