Bay Area Residents Right to be Depressed

As a new Field Poll shows that Bay Area residents list the struggling economy as their number one concern for the first time in years, an economist showed up at Cal State East Bay to announce that they have every reason to be worried. According to the East Bay Business Times, UC Santa Barbara economist Bill Watkins declared that California's unemployment rate will top six percent this year, but announced now's a good time to buy a house. It's like that old Italian proverb: when there's blood in the streets, buy property.
