Bats in Kensington

When: Sat., Oct. 27, 1 & 3 p.m. 2007

They hear extraordinarily well, they sleep all day while hanging upside-down, and by night they eat bugs in midair. Few members of the animal kingdom have a more sinister rap than bats, and in this season when rubber and paper ones dangle on porches aplenty, the Bat Conservation Fund wants to set matters straight with its "Bats in Kensington" show -- including live bats -- at the KensingtonCommunity Center(59 Arlington Ave., Kensington). Each of the afternoon's two shows is open to adults and children over five. Although admission is free, tickets are required and must be collected in advance at the Kensington Library (61 Arlington Ave., Kensington). Saturday, Oct. 27, 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
