"Baraka" film screening with live Danza Azteca

Filmed in 25 countries on 6 continents, the film brings together a series of stunningly photographed scenes to capture what director Ron Fricke calls “a guided meditation on humanity.” Producer Mark Magidson explains "The goal of the film was to reach past language, nationality, religion, and politics and speak to the inner viewer." In addition to the film screening, the evening will feature a brief presentation of Danza Azteca (Mexica) by In Xochitl in Cuicatl of Berkeley, refreshments, and discussion. The event is free and open to the public. Donations are gratefully appreciated. The film is 97 minutes, Not Rated.
