Baia Pasta at Eat Real Festival

When: Fri., Sept. 14, 10 a.m., Sat., Sept. 15, 10 a.m. and Sun., Sept. 16, 10 a.m. 2018

Join Baia Pasta founder, capo pastaio, and self-declared “Gluten Ambassador” Renato Sardo for the launch of the Oakland-based company’s new collaboration with Pasta Porto. Founded by Neapolitan Chef Antonio Capezzuto, Pasta Porto is a Bay Area-based fresh pasta company with deep Italian roots. There’s no better place than the Eat Real Festival, the East Bay’s biggest annual food celebration with an emphasis on local and artisan food crafts and products, to premiere Baia’s long anticipated dive into fresh pasta. Stop by the storefront all weekend, where chefs will be on hand making authentic Italian sauces to pair with pasta samples. Capezzuto will be there all day on Saturday, preparing fresh trenette al pesto and beef lasagne. Try a sample, buy a bowl, and then grab a bag of trenette for yourself. Have a delicious and molto Italiano weekend in this makeshift Little Italy on the waterfront.
