Rated NR 80 minutes 2008

Shelved comic slacker odyssey ultimately proves tedious, as NYC numbskulls Colton (Oakland actor Josh Alexander, who also co-wrote and co-produced) and Ben (Rob Bogue) take a road trip to Montreal in search of Donald Sutherland -- and find beer, a stripper, and other, dumber people instead. Made in 2005 but released theatrically in 2008 by Landmark/Magnolia relative Truly Indie, who are obviously beating the bushes. No improvement on Kevin Smith, the Farrelly Bros., or “The Great White North.” Directed by TV commercial vet Bruce Van Dusen (80 min.).
