Torah Told Different recounts the tale of a parallel reality in which a Third Temple rose and fell in antiquity, women were ordained in the fifth century CE, and alternate sages and texts are woven together with ones better known from the “historical” Jewish textual tradition. Andrew Ramer teaches in the USF Swig Program in Jewish Studies and Social Justice. He is an ordained Maggid (sacred storyteller) and author of numerous books and articles including Queering the Text: Biblical, Medieval, and Modern Jewish Stories.
