Believe it or not, summer is just around the corner, and if you’re a parent, that might mean shipping your kid off to camp. For those wanting a secular experience, Camp Quest may be just what you’re looking for. The “secular summer camp” offers the usual activities &mdash hiking, swimming, games, etc. &mdash but mixed with educational programs that focus on evolution. This year, the camp, held in Nevada City in July, is offering middle school students living in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico a chance to win free attendance by entering its evolution essay contest. Among the questions: “Should Intelligent Design be taught in school along with evolution? Why or why not?” We have a feeling we know the answer …
