Introducing readers in the New World to writers from a very old one, Andrew Schelling is a leading translator of early Indian poetry into English. His fifteen books include Old Tale Road and Dropping the Bow. At Moe's Books (2476 Telegraph Ave., Berkeley) on Monday, Feb. 9, he shares the podium with American Book Award winner Gloria Frym, whose many books of fiction and poetry include The Lost Sappho Poems, Distance No Object, and Homeless at Home. 7:30 p.m.
