AIDS/Lifecycle and SF AIDS Foundation Benefit

For a taste of the Bay Area at its open-hearted best, nothing tops Saturday's benefit concert for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation AIDS/LifeCycle program and Young People's Symphony Orchestra. The two-hour marathon includes the Women's Antique Vocal Ensemble; UC Berkeley Choral Ensemble-Perfect Fifth; members of the Young People's Symphony Orchestra (Mayumi Pierce, violin; Kirk Brandenburg, trombone; Max Raskin and Wendy Howe, cello); duet singers Victoria Varieur and Jason Emanuel Britton; cellists Marcie Brown and Isabelle Brown Lyden; singer-composer, Daniel Mandel; tenor Carlo del Conte; and pianists David Olachea, Bob Fowler, and Valdez Hill.
