Why-bother horror doodad features a pallid plot line and mortified dialogue in its story of a loco funeral director (Liam Neeson) trying to convince an accident victim (Christina Ricci) that she’s dead even though evidence points to the contrary. Ricci shows a lot of skin as she poses on the slab – maybe that’s filmmaker Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo’s selling point after all. A few surrealistic camera shots, but nothing to raise the dead about. Costarring Justin Long and Malachy McCourt. Directed by Wojtowicz-Vosloo from a screenplay she wrote with Paul Vosloo and Jakub Korolczuk (98 min.).
