When: Oct. 16-18, 7-8 p.m. 2020
Every year since 2012, thousands have flocked to Oakland’s Lake Merritt to immerse themselves in the Autumn Lights Festival ─ a one-of-a-kind interactive art experience that is always the talk of the town. This year, the event will be held entirely online. The three-night festival will showcase 40 spectacular illuminated art displays (built and shown from the artists' own studios) through video, demos, and live chat ─ treating audiences to an exciting behind-the-scenes experience with both longtime and new festival artists. Benefit for the nonprofit Friends of the Gardens at Lake Merritt. Free viewing nightly at 7 pm.
