4th Annual Shortest Triathlon Ever

When: Sat., April 17, 6:30 a.m. 2010

The fourth-annual Shortest Triathlon Ever takes place in Emeryville on Saturday, Apr. 17. The course begins with a 100-meter swim at EmorySecondary School, continues with a pancake-flat 2.5-mile bike ride through the streets of Emeryville, and concludes with an easy 2.1-mile run through the Bay Street shopping complex. The record for the course stands at less than fifteen minutes. Participants will be treated to breakfast, chair-messages, health assessments, and more at a health and wellness fair following the race. Proceeds from the race benefit the EmeryvilleUnifiedSchool District. Registration and check-in begins at 6:30 a.m. at City Hall (1333 Park Ave. Emeryville) and race time is 8 a.m. $45 pre-registered (until Apr. 15), $55 day-of, or $1 for Emeryville Unified or415-225-1431
