2012 Presidential Election Recap

When: Fri., Nov. 16, 6 p.m. 2012

Glory be, this year's presidential election is -- finally, definitively, mercifully -- over. (If only we could say the same for "binders full of women" jokes.) But there's still a lot to process, culturally and politically, which is where this panel discussion comes in, with journalists from NPR and Politico joining forces with academics from Berkeley and Stanford to discuss not only the results themselves, but what they hold for the future of election reform, campaign finance, and political strategy. Consider it closure. On Friday, Nov. 16, at Banatao Auditorium in Sutardja Dai Hall (UC Berkeley campus).Sponsored by the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. 6 p.m., free; RSVP to JulieHirano at Berkeley dot edu. 510-642-3394 or Journalism.Berkeley.edu
