Masala Indian Fusion Restaurant

Masala doesn’t just serve the best Indian food in the Tri-Valley, it’ll also teach you how to cook it yourself. From 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Mondays, when the restaurant is closed, chef Raj Sharma leads cooking and tasting classes for parties of eight to ten budding cooks. The menu changes every month: April’s included chicken tikka kebabs, lamb vindaloo, gobi aloo, naan, and kulfi. All for $65 a person — which isn’t much more than what a five-course meal at Masala would cost. Needless to say, the classes are first-come, first-eat.
