To walk by the Lost Weekend Lounge on a random evening and witness some clients standing around for a smoke can make one assume that the joint is a little rough. On the other hand, it’s cleverly evocative name might suggest that the bar is actually more kitsch than character. Truth be told, neither assumption is quite true. Once inside, it’s all fun, and the vast majority of patrons are rock ‘n’ roll and punk professionals. The vibe is much more local neighborhood pub than dive. The Lost Weekend offers a wide variety of music and events, from trivia contests to a DJ spinning tunes from the ’80s.
