Cold Snap Chills Bay Area

In addition to the dusting of snow at low elevations, the cold front that stormed through the Bay Area this week is coming close to setting record low temperatures throughout the region. Oakland nearly tied a record low, registering 34 degrees at the Oakland Museum, two above the record set in 1972. And the Oakland airport came in at 30 degrees yesterday, three above the record of 27 degrees set in 1972 as well. Berkeley recorded a low of 32 yesterday.
