Book Readings Struggle After Cody's Death

When Cody's Books finally gave up the ghost, people all over Berkeley wondered what would happen to its tradition of hosting book readings by authors touring the country to promote their latest offerings. The group has so far hosted sparsely attended events in churches, but given the hunger for this sort of thing in town, we hope the project takes off.
