Phooey. We loved the East Bay Business Times; specifically, we loved to crib off of it. Unfortunately, the issue on the streets will be its last, as the paper merges its operations with the San Francisco Business Times. The paper will still have a ten-person staff in its East Bay Bureau and continue to publish its annual East Bay Book of Lists. But despite the chipper tone of this story, it's hard to imagine this as anything but a loss for the East Bay.
