The Oakland Raiders blew a 15-3 lead going into the fourth quarter yesterday, as the Chargers outscored them 25-3 in the last fifteen minutes. Now, everyone's waiting to see if this time, coach Lane Kiffin really will get fired. According to the Trib, owner Al Davis has promised to meet with the media this week, for the first time in more than a year. In addition, the Trib reports that Davis has been mulling this over for some time, first whether firing Kiffin is the right call and second how and when to do it in order to minimize the disruption to the team's leadership. Since the Raiders are heading into a bye week, this sounds like the most opportune moment.
