There’s nothing quite like a jackknifed truck spilling one hundred gallons of gas to shut down a freeway. That’s just what happened to southbound I-880 this morning, as a truck smashed into the center divider and hung over the edge of the freeway. After several hours, the California Highway Patrol finally reopened the lanes. Good thing it happened against the commuter traffic.
