Don't Call It a Recession: Most Foreclosures in Recorded History

Are you ready for this? The Chron reports that in the last three months, the number of Californians losing their homes to foreclosure has reached its highest level in at least twenty years. Why at least twenty years? Because after that, the records aren't good enough for an accurate comparison. In other words, we are facing the WORST HOUSING AND CREDIT CRISIS IN RECORDED HISTORY! The only good news is that the number of mortgages falling into default is slowing down. Why might that be, you ask? Experts speculate that banks just don't have enough staff to process all the paperwork. So it's probably even worse than we think. But it's not a recession! If it were, we'd be, you know, in trouble.
