Get this: friends and associates of the now-defunct Your Black Muslim Bakery plan to hold a rally outside the old San Pablo Avenue headquarters on August 2. The Contra Costa Times identifies Henry Clark as one of the leaders, and he says the rally is designed to expose the truth about why the bakery really closed, as well as bringing justice to "whoever is guilty of any crime." You see, the cops attacked and closed the bakery "under some type of ruse or pretense that they were violating some sort of health standards." That's funny; we thought it was in connection with a kidnapping investigation. And there's the little matter of more than one million dollars in outstanding debts. Clark added, "There is enough information that will be revealed to show that things are not quite the way that they have been reported." The passive language leaves us a little confused. Does he mean that he'll reveal concrete evidence of a sinister police conspiracy, and prove that the bakery's leaders are being set up? Or will he just drop more hints at the rally? We can't wait to find out.
