Some weeks, it seems like nothing's going on at all, not even a piddly yard sale, but apparently, that's cuz everyone's waiting for a certain weekend to have everything. Case in point: this weekend, where an abundance of sales, store anniversaries, and fashion shows will tempt you whether your tastes lean toward Kimora Lee Simmons, funky 80s neon, or sublimely urban. And it's all happening in our backyard. Plus, help support Tsunami victims with leather-free bags at a local Oakland boutique. All the info, after the jump
Twenty-Two Shoes Spring Sale
If you missed last weekend's sample sale, or were too engrossed with the drastically discounted fall finds from the prior season (who, me?), you've got a chance to get in on another deal by the Oakland-based shoemaker. This weekend, head to any of their locations for 30 percent off their spring styles. But this is a VIP sale, so mention the e-mail they sent out to get the discount. Public sale starts Monday, June 23.

Magnet Three-Year Anniversary
Congratulate owner Camille Mason for not only making it three years in a tough economy, but also for making Magnet one of the best shopping destinations in the East Bay. Pick up a pretty summer frock or chic sunglasses while you're at it, and help support a great local business.

Jeremy's Summer Half-Off Sale
Not sure whether to tell you to run to this event, or away from it (I'm hardly an aggressive shopper, but the only time I've ever gotten into a nasty catfight was at Jeremy's), but this discount/salvage mecca is having its half-off sale this weekend, starting tomorrow at 9 a.m. If you're brave enough to fight the crowds and the boyfriend/coat-racks, don't be shy about lining up at 8:30 a.m. with your Roma latte in hand.
