Take that, print newspapers! Despite all your unanimity, your carefully thought out positions and candidate interviews and massive circulation, your man Tony Thurmond couldn't pull off a victory. Thurmond came in second, with less 24.5 percent of the vote. Berkeley City Councilman and lefty fave Kriss Worthington snagged third place, with just over 16 percent. And the anointed one herself, Nancy Skinner, thumped all comers by picking up 47 percent in a crowded field. Now she goes on to face...ah, you know the drill.
