We're a week late on this, and we just don't care! Because it's more sweet news about Berkeley resident and caliente kitten Rita Moreno! According to the New York Times, the Public Broadcasting System has revived the hippest show on Earth, that 1970s child education gem the Electric Company, and plans to broadcast new episodes nationwide. Ms. Moreno, who opened each show with her gravelly "Hey you guuuyyyyysss!" has been offered a cameo in the new incarnation, guaranteeing that a new generation of children will be introduced to the lovely lady's charms. No word yet on whether a similar role will be offered to Morgan Freeman, who played the vaguely pimpish "Easy Reader" and dropped such 70s aphorisms as "Top to bottom, left to right, readin' stuff is outta sight!"
