MediaNews reports that Ellen Dixon, whose husband died eleven years ago in a helicopter crash at a Livermore-sponsored air show, might have to leave her home of twenty years to pay the city for its court costs. Dixon won a trial court case against the city but lost on appeal. The city is now demanding that she pay its $41,000 court costs for the appeal. Doing so, she says, would leave her no choice but to sell her house. “I just don’t understand how they can do this,” she told MediaNews. “I just don’t know what they want from me.”
