Police in the Caribbean island of Antigua have announced they’ve arrested a 24-year-old man from Dominica as a suspect in the killing of 29-year-old East Bay musician and SF State student Nina Nilssen, the Chronicle is reporting. Nilssen was killed on Jan. 19 by a single stab wound to the neck after wandering off from a family barbecue in celebration of her sister’s wedding, as part of a cruise. According to the Antigua police, suspect Tishara Daniel confessed to the stabbing of Nilssen, and was allegedly carring Nilssen’s camera when he was arrested on Friday. A court hearing is scheduled for today.
