Meandering emo guitar and breathy male vocals haven't sounded this good since...Sunny Day Real Estate. Seattle's Jeremy Enigk has an ineffable listenability usually reserved for someone like Bryan Adams, but with the cachet of a man who worked alongside Pat Smear. He plays Slim's Saturday, December 23, so if you got nothing going on, come cry in your Christmas beer with Mr. Enigk. "World Waits" was released in October through Enigk's own Lewis Hollow Records. Stream "Been Here Before" at his MySpace page.
