The Saddest Music in the World: Tenth Anniversary Celebration

When: Thu., Jan. 24 2013

A toast with beer provided by Pyramid Brewery!

Guest emcee: Peter Conheim; live music by Grale

On the tenth anniversary of Guy Maddin’s 2003 joyously stilted comedy about a bewitching beer baroness Lady Port-Huntly (Isabella Rossellini), enjoy a live musical tribute by Grale. Then sit back and relive Maddin’s witty and atmospheric film, in which Port-Huntly announces a competition to determine which nation possesses the most sorrowful song. To conclude we raise a glass of Pyramid Ale to the beer baroness. ($5.50-$9.50)
