Forbidden Voices: Community Women’s Orchestra Concert,

Community Women’s Orchestra (CWO) will close its 32nd season with a concert featuring women singers of the University of California Alumni Chorus, to perform works by artists whose voices have historically been silenced. Repertoire includes “Street Requiem” (written for a choir of homeless singers), William Grant Still’s “Afro-American Symphony”, a world premiere by Bay Area composer June Bonacich, and “Anne Frank: A Living Voice” by Linda Tutas Haugen.

Price: $15 adults, $10 students/seniors
