Say what you will about indie folk outfit Local Natives, but these guys can sing. The L.A.-based band won over critics with its 2010 debut Gorilla Manor, and its new album Hummingbird continues the lush harmonies and romantic melodies.

Shaking The Habitual comes out April 9, and will be the Swedish electronic duo's first album in seven years.
Call me a purist, but I miss the days when Chan Marshall (aka Cat Power) wrote alcoholic odes to death and destruction. Her 2012 album Sun went slightly darker than other recent releases, but it wasn't dark enough — fortunately, this new remix of “Manhattan” by producer-du-jour Ryan Hemsworth featuring rapper Angel Haze redeems the track.
