Morucci’s may be tucked away a half-mile from downtown, but it’s too well loved to be a best-kept secret. The sandwiches are worth the wait, which newcomers should keep in mind when they’re calculating just how far they are from the counter (think Disney World). Find a takeout menu, because it will take you a while to settle on a sandwich — though if you can resist the call of bacon, which often perfumes the room, you have stronger willpower than we do.
