.Best Coffin Store

Sunset Casket Outlet

If Six Feet Under‘s casket wall gets your red corpuscles moving, a trip to Sunset Casket Outlet may be just what the doctor ordered. The store, tucked innocuously between a dry cleaner and a children’s bookstore, features an amazing hand-painted casket in its window depicting a woman clutching her hands in prayer as little winged cherubs cavort in the air. It’s owned and operated by the mellow and soft-spoken Reggie Mitchell, who tells customers that his caskets go for $400 and up, which he says is fifty percent less than what funeral homes charge. The store has a few floor models along its walls and an entire catalog filled with caskets in colors like India Star Ivory and Renaissance Rose. There’s also the Millennium model, a stainless steel casket shaped like a bullet. Why not make it an evening and drop by before catching a flick at the Grand Lake just down the street?
