According to the Contra Costa Times, the East Bay’s water district, faced with a new drought and alarmingly low water levels, set a goal for everyone to use 15 percent less water. It even imposed a ten percent rate hike in August, as well as an extra fee for people who use more than their share of agua. But did you go along with it? We’re afraid not. You’ve only cut your water use by 11.3 percent. Now, that’s not too bad, things could’ve been worse. But you have so much potential, and you’re just not living up to it. Please try a little harder next month.
